Product Designer

  • UX Designer, UI/Visual Designer
  • Permanent
  • Remote, OR 97458, USA

We are looking for a Product Designer to join us in building the future of multichain.

The current UX of crypto, in general, is convoluted, dangerous, and fragmented. By serving as a novel, universal layer that connects the ecosystem, ZetaChain makes a new paradigm of developer and user experience possible. We’re eager to grow our design team with someone keen to help unravel that new paradigm — through consumer crypto apps, rethinking developer experience, technical tools, and more.

You might be a good fit if...

  • You can create pixel-perfect UI, but also know how to balance beauty/aesthetics with real needs, speed, and usability.
  • You can break down complex technical requirements, concepts, and constraints and have a strong intuition for how people use, do not use, or want to use products
  • You can get creative and develop insights and solutions for problems that might not have existing parallels using first principles and design thinking
  • You can lead a design project end-to-end (from exploration to handoff) and have a track record for navigating ambiguity in the design process (2+ years of digital product design experience)
  • You care deeply about the safety of users and the implications of the technology you design

Things you might work on

  • Designing user-facing products built on top of ZetaChain’s network for financial, technical, and creative use cases
  • Experience design around developer and user education, learning, building, and participation
  • Fleshing out a design system used for both internal and external products
  • Creating branding and marketing assets for use on social and in PR
  • Collaborating with and advising developer+creative ecosystem on design/UI/UX

  • Graphics or visual art background
  • Coding skills (basic HTML/CSS - great, react/full-stack/etc. - even better!)
  • Understanding of some portion of the crypto ecosystem/product

Tools we use

  • Figma
  • Storybook
  • Occasionally... Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, Blender, ...
  • React, TypeScript, NextJS for design implementation + prototyping (technical experience not required)
