Software Engineer - API Integration (London or Cambridge)

Your Mission

  • You will develop direct integrations with major platforms in the contract management space
  • You will also work with third-party developers who are seeking to connect their applications to ThoughtRiver, offering consultancy and support
  • You will form a close relationship with our product development teams, contribute to our roadmap, particularly for API interfaces, and, when relevant, assist the engineers in the product development teams

What You'll Need To Succeed

  • Extensive experience of leveraging REST APIs to undertake application integrations
  • Previous experience of integrating solutions for some major SaaS software packages, such as CRM and document management systems
  • You have a good knowledge of integration middleware solutions
  • You've undertaken software development, ideally using Python; PHP and Java are also advantageous
  • Web development technologies, such as HTML/XML/JSON structures, authentication methods such as OAuth/JWT and SSO concepts
  • You have utilised and contributed towards API documentation platforms
  • You produce full tested code, with full test coverage
  • You have a good working knowledge of databases, event queues, and containerisation solutions (Docker, Kubernetes)

We're currently supporting all our employees through Covid-19 and encouraging remote working; this role will be based remotely until we're advised it's safe to return to the Cambridge office and at that point we will require this person to travel to the office for collaboration.
